Darkhorse Services uses SiteDocs as our safety management platform, is a member of Avetta, and is COR certified.

Darkhorse Services maintains a strong safety culture supported by certified safety systems and digital documentation. We use SiteDocs as our safety management platform, are a member of Avetta, and hold COR certification to demonstrate our commitment to safe work practices. Our team has extensive knowledge in SiteDocs resources, giving employees and contractors instant access to health and safety manuals, EHSC documents, procedures, checklists, and other critical safety information. With safe work policies and documentation at their fingertips, our crews can perform work confidently, consistently, and in full compliance with industry expectations.

New Initiatives

Projects in Development

Open Work Camp

Darkhorse Services has partnered with Drive to develop a new 250-person work camp supporting industrial projects in the region. Located just west of the Crowsnest Pass and a short distance from EVR mine sites, the camp is positioned to provide efficient access for crews working in the Elk Valley. Construction is underway, and we are currently accepting company commitments for accommodations into the new year. For availability, rates, and partnership opportunities, please contact our office.

Darkhorse Services offers a wide range of electrical and instrumentation services and believes that responsible industry growth can support local jobs while respecting the land and environment around us. As a ranching family with deep roots in the region, our children will be the fifth generation raised on the land we care for. Ranching near active coal operations has given us a unique perspective on the importance of balancing industrial development with agricultural responsibility.
